D.I.Y. Greenhouse

All the lumber and windows were free. This whole project cost us less than $100.
Holding a window in place.

Roof is on.
Hanging the door.

Sealing up any and all cracks with adobe mud.

Many different hands helped out with this part.

Now that the greenhouse is up we have electricity running out to it with a light and a small heater with a timer to use for a couple hours on colder nights. We have about twenty flats growing right now of mostly tomatoes and chile but also broccoli, celery, basil and marigolds. Shelves are going in next week, and we still have an automatic vent opener arm to figure out and install. Never a dull moment.

  1. all this farm girl can raise for the table in her very own greenhouse and get a jump start on her growing season. Where's that seed catalog? I must get started and send off that order to this is where I got my greenhouse
